Abstract: THE HUD-274 IS USED BY HUD TO REQUEST RECIPIENTS OF LOAN OR GRANT FUNDS, BEING FUNDED BY REQUISITION, TO DESIGNATE A DEPOSITARY THAT THE WISH TO RECEIVE FUNDS IN CONNECTION WITH HUD PROGRAMS. THIS IS AN INTERNAL CONTROL INSTITUTED TO SAFEGUARD FEDERAL FUNDS AS WELL AS PROVIDING A SERVICE TO RECIPIENTS.
