Abstract: THE LONG TERM IMPACT ON BREAST CANCER MORTALITY OF SCREENING FOR BREAST CANCER USING MAMMOGRAPHY AND CLINICAL EXAMINATION IS UNKNOWN, BUT IS NECESSARY FOR COST/BENEFIT ANALYSES. 60,000 WOMEN IS A RANDOMIZED TRIAL WILL BE FOLLOWED TO DETERMINE BREAST CANCER AND VITAL STATUS AT 15 YEARS INTO THE STUDY.
