Abstract: THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY IS TO CREATE AND ANALYZE A COMPREHENSIVE DATA BASE CONCERNING ALCOHOL USE AMONG 16 TO 27 YEAR OLDS. A MAJOR OBJECTIVE IS TO DETERMINE THE NATURE, ANTECEDENTS, AND SHORT-TERM CONSEQUENCES OF DRINKING BY YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS AND TO DETERMINE HOW THESE FACTORS ARE SPECIFIED BY AGE, GENDER AND RACE.
