Abstract: MQC IS A STATE-ADMINISTERED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE MEDICAID PROGRAM. STATES ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN ONCE A YEAR. THIS PLAN DETAILS THE MAJOR INITIATIVES THE STATE WILL IMPLEMENT IN ORDER TO REDUCE ERRORS UNCOVER BY MQC REVIEWERS. THIS REPORT IS MANDATORY UNDER 42 CFR 431.800.
