The collection
of information requirements contained in the proposed rule entitled
"Change in a Tariff, Executed Service Agreement or Part Thereof"
(Dockt No. RM 83-52-000), dated August 17, 1983, which revise
sections 154.63 of the Commission's rules, is not approved (see 5
CFR 1320.13). Detailed comments on the proposal will follow
separately. Briefly, FERC has not demonstrated in its supporting
statement that the propose collection of information is the least
burdensome and that it has practical utility. Specific OMB comments
which the Commission's final rule must address include the lead-lag
study, Schedule I-4, Statement and Schedule F(5)-1. Pursuant to 5
CFR 1320.14, OMB is continuing its review of the remaining
collection of information covered by FERC-542. OMB is hereb
extending the review period for this portion for 30 days.
