Abstract: FORM HUD-5402, REQUISITION FOR FUNDS, WAS DEVELOPED IN ACCORDANCE WITH PROVISIONS OF THE U.S. HOUSING ACT OF 1937, AS AMENDED, WHEREBY HUD IS EMPOWERED TO MAKE LOANS TO PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCIES (PHAS) TO ASSIST IN FINANCING LOW-INCOME PUBLIC HOUSING PROJECTS. THE FORM IDENTIFIES THE PROJECT OR PROJECTS BY NUMBER, AMOUNT REQUISITIONED, THE GEN DEPOSITOR AND ACCT NUMBER, APPROVING OFFICIALS AND THE DATE THE DIRECT ADVANCE WILL BE REPAID FROM THE PROCEED OF PROJECT NOTE SALE.
