Terms of Clearance: THE TVA HAS ADEQUATELY ADDRESSED OMB'S CONCERNS REGARDING THIS SURVEY. THEREFORE, THIS DOCKET IS APPROVED FOR USE, AS STATED. HOWEVER, IN ALL FUTURE SUBMISIONS OF EITHER SURVEYS OR SIMILAR INFORMATION COLLEC TIONS FROM THE PUBLIC, THE TVA MUST PROVIDE IMPROVED RATIONALES AS TO HOW THE PROPOSED INFORMATION COLLECTIONS WILL ASSIST IT IN ITS ECONOMI DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS IN THE REGION. BY DOING SO, THE TVA WILL BE BETTE ABLE TO RESPOND TO MANY OF OMB'S LIKELY INQUIRIES AS TO WHETHER THE PROPOSED INFORMATON COLLECTION IS ESSENTIAL TO THE AGENCY IN ORDER FOR IT TO CARRY OUT ITS MANDATED FUNCTIONS.

Abstract: THERE IS A NEED TO SAMPLE THE INDUSTRIAL POPULATION TO DETERMINE THE NEED FOR CURRENT AND ADJUSTED CURRICULA WHICH REALISTICALLY REFELCT TH OCCUPATIONS WHICH ARE NEEDED OR WILL BE NEEDED IN INDUSTRIES IN THE TARGETED SURVEY AREA. THE GATHERED INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE TRENDS AND REQUIREMENTS OF LOCAL (ALABAMA) INDUSTRY, FOR JOBS CREATION.
