Abstract: PER CFR 41, ED MUST ENSURE THAT CONTRACTORS WITH FEDERAL PROPERTY HAVE ADEQUATE INVENTORY SYSTEMS. ED WILL USE A QUESTIONNAIRE TO ASSESS EXISTANCE OF CONTRACTORS' INVENTORY SYSTEMS PROCEDURES. CFR 41 ALSO REQUIRES CONTRACTORS TO REPORT TO ED ANNUALLY GOVERNMENT-OWNED PROPERT IN THEIR POSSESSION. ED MUST FURNISH CONTRACTORS WITH INVENTORY FORMS.
