Abstract: STATE/LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND BUSINEESES RECEIVING FEDERAL GRANTS REPORT QUARTERLY ON THEIR UTILIZATION OF SMALL/MINORITY/WOMEN'S BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (SBE/MBE/WBE). EPA USES THE DATA TO COMPLY WITH STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS, TO DEVELOP PLANS/GOALS FOR THIS PROGRAM, AND TO MONITOR PERFORMANCE TO ENSURE THAT RECIPIENTS AWARD A "FAIR SHARE" OF SUBCONTRACTS TO THESE ENTERPRISES.
