Abstract: SECTION 73.642 REQUIRES THAT ALL TV STATIONS MUST FILE WITH THE FCC AN APPLICATION FOR AUTHORIZATION TO OPERATE SUBSCRIPTION TELEVISION SERVICES (STV). ALSO, APPLICANTS FOR STV MUST SET FORTH THE TERMS OF AGREEMENTS AND ARRANGEMENTS WITH OTHER PARTIES CONCERNING THE SUPPLYING OF STV PROGRAMS. THE COMMISSION USES THIS APPLICATION TO DETERMINE IF THE PUBLIC INTEREST IS BEING SERVED.
