Abstract: SEC. 73.1515 REQUIRES THAT ALL AM, FM & TV STATIONS FILE AN INFORMAL APPLICATION IN LETTER FORM REQUESTING AUTHORIZATIONS TO OPERATE A TRANSMITTER UNDER SPECIAL FIELD TEST AUTHORITY. THE COMMISSION ALSO REQUIRES THAT A REPORT, CONTAINING MEASUREMENTS, THEIR ANALYSIS & OTHE RESULTS BE FILED WITH THE FCC WITHIN 60 DAYS FOLLOWING TERMINATION OF TEST AUTHORIZATION. (SEE THIRD PARAGRAPH OF SUPPORTING STATEMENT.)
