Abstract: SEC. 73.1560(D) REQUIRES THAT ALL AM, FM & TV STATIONS NOTIFY THE COMM IF OPERATION AT REDUCED POWER EXCEEDS 10 CONSECUTIVE DAYS. THIS REDUC TION IS ONLY POSSIBLE IF IT IS TECHNICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO OPERATE WITH AUTHORIZED POWER. THIS NOTIFICATION IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. 1.65 OF FCC FULES & ASSURES THE COMMISSION THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST IS BEING SERVED & THAT ENGINEERING PRACTICES ARE BEING APPLIED.
