Abstract: THE STUDY IS A NEXT-OF-KIN CASE-CONTROL STUDY OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL HOST FACTORS OF 120 ESOPHAGEAL CANCER PATIENTS AND 240 CONTROLS WHO LIVED IN ONE OF 8 COASTAL COUNTIES OF SOUTH CAROLINA. CRITICAL INFORMATION WILL BE SOLICITED AT HOME IN PERSON IN AN INTERVIEW AVERAGING 45 MINUTES.
