Abstract: NEEDED TO PROTECT BORROWERS AND PRESERVE HUD'S GENERAL INSURANCE FUND FROM CLAIMS BASED UPON INTENTIONAL MISREPRESENTATIONS. USED TO DETERMINE PROGRAM PARTICIPATION ELIGIBILITY AND SATISFY HUD ADMINSTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS. APPROVED DEALER-CONTRACTORS ACCEPT LOAN APPLICATIONS FOR LENDERS, PROVIDE IMPROVEMENTS TO APPROVED BORROWERS, AND SELL DISCOUNTED BORROWERS NOTES TO LENDERS.
