Abstract: THIS QUESTIONNAIRE SEEKS OTHERWISE UNAVAILABLE INFORMATION CONCERNING THE NUMBER OF HOUSING AUTHORITIES THAT PROCURE INDIVIDUAL RATHER THAN CONSOLIDATED INSURANCE POLICIES, AND THEIR RELATIVE COSTS. A RECOMMENDATION TO HUD BASED ON QUESTIONNAIRE RESULTS FOR CONVERSION TO CONSOLIDATED PROCUREMENTS COULD REDUCE OPERATING SUBSIDIES BY $10 TO $25 MILLION.
