Abstract: IMS NEEDS AN INDEPENDENT EVALUATION OF 118 SPECIAL PROJECT SUPPORT GRANTS AWARDED BETWEEN 1978 AND 1981 IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE EFFICAC OF THE GRANTS PROGRAM AND TO ESTABLISH A DATA BASE UPON WHICH FUTURE POLICY AND AWARD CRITERIA WILL BE GROUNDED. THE AFFECTED PUBLIC WILL BE THE SPECIAL PROJECT DIRECTORS AT EACH OF THE RECIPIENT MUSEUMS.
