Abstract: CONSUMER SURVEYS ARE USED TO TRACK AWARENESS, FOOD CONSUMPTION, PROBLEMS, ETC., OF PRODUCTS REGULATED BY THE AGENCY. THE BULK OF THE PLANNED SURVEY ADDRESSES ISSUES RELATED TO SODIUM CONSUMPTION, NEEDED TO ASSESS THE IMPACT OF THE AGENCY'S SODIUM INITIATIVES, AND TO FATS AND CHOLESTEROL, NEEDED BY NIH TO PROVIDE BASELINE DATA RELEVANT TO THEIR INITIATIVES.
