Abstract: PATIENTS WITH THE ACQUIRED IMMUNODEFICIENCY SYNDROME (AIDS) HAVE MARKED CHANGES IN CERTAIN SUBSETS OF WHITE BLOOD CELLS (T-CELLS). THI SPECIAL EPIDEMIOLOGIC STUDY WILL SELECT, INTERVIEW, AND DRAW BLOOD SPECIMENS ON A SAMPLE OF THE GENERAL POPULATION IN THE WASHINGTON, D.C ARE IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE RANGE AND VARIABILITY OF THESE SUBSETS IN HEALTHY INDIVIDUALS.
