Abstract: MTB USES THIS REQUIREMENT TO ALLOW SHIPPER FLEXABILITY IN THE TYPE OF VENTING WHICH IS TO BE USED ON A CONTAINER. WITHOUT THIS REQUIREMENT SHIPPERS WOULD ONLY BE ALLOWED TO USE VENTING ARRANGEMENTS SET FORTH IN THE REGULATIONS.
