Abstract: FORM HUD-51975 IS USED TO IDENTIFY VARIOUS MORTGAGES OR OTHER ENCUMBERANCES OR INTERESTS IN A SPECIFIC PROPERTY WHICH A PHA IS ACQUIRING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF A PROJECT. THE INFORMATION IS USED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY TO PRO-RATE DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS TO THOSE HAVIN INTERESTS IN THE PROPERTY. THE RESPONDENTS ARE PHAS WHO OBTAIN THE INFORMATION FROM PUBLIC RECORDS OR TITLE COMPANIES. THE INFORMATION IS USED BY THE PHAS AND HUD TO ASSURE CLEAR TITLE TO PROPERTIES.
