Abstract: NIMH NEEDS THE INFORMATION TO UPDATE LONGITUDINAL DATA BASES, TO SUPPORT ONGOING RESEARCH AND TO PROVIDE A UNIVERSE OF ORGANIZATIONS FO ORGANIZATION BASED SAMPLE SURVEYS OF PATIENTS. THE DATA ARE USED TO STUDY TRENDS IN UTILIZATION, STAFFING, AND EXPENDITURES IN MENTAL HEAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE U.S. AND STATE AND TO SUPPORT INTRAMURAL AND EXTRAMURAL RESEARCH.
