Abstract: THE INFORMATION COLLECTION IS NEEDED FOR SUFFICIENT DATA TO SUPPORT A QUALITY CARE REVIEW PROGRAM IN THE TREATMENT OF ESRD. DATA IS USED BY NATIONAL, REGIONAL, AND LOCAL HEALTH CARE PLANNING AND DELIVERY ORGANIZATIONS IN DECISION-MAKING RESULTING IN IMPROVED PATIENT CARE AND THE PLANNED, ORDERLY, AND CONTROLLED GROWTH, AND COST-EFFECTIVE DISTRIBUTION OF RESOURCES.
