Abstract: EIA-28 COLLECTS FINANCIAL, PRODUCTION AND RESERVES DATA. THE DATA, REQUIRED PURSUANT TO PUBLIC LAW 95-91, ARE USED TO EVALUATE THE COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR ENERGY PRODUCTS SUPPLY/DEVELOPMENT, AND TO ANALYZE ENERGY RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT/SUPPLY/DISTRIBUTION ARRANGEMENTS. EIA PUBLISHES THE DATA. RESPONDENTS ARE MAJOR OIL AND GAS PRODUCERS.
