Abstract: NSPS REQUIRES ONSHORE NATURAL GAS PROCESSING/SO2 FACILITIES TO NOTIFY EPA OF CONSTRUCTION/RECONSTRUCTION, STARTUPS DATES AND DEMONSTRATION OF CONTINUOUS MONITORING SYSTEMS. RESPONDENTS MUST ALSO SUBMIT REPORT OF EXCESS EMISSIONS AND INITIAL PERFORMANCE TESTS. EPA USES THE DATA TO ENSURE THAT RESPONDENTS ARE COMPLYING WITH THE STANDARDS AND THAT THEY ARE OPERATING/MAINTAINING CONTROL SYSTEMS PROPERLY.
