Abstract: THIS PROPOSAL FOR AMENDMENT OF THE MATTRESS FLAMMABILITY STANDARD WOUL REQUIRE MANUFACTURERS OF MATTRESS AND MATTRESS PADS TO COMPILE AND MAINTAIN RECORDS DEMONSTRATING THAT THEIR PRODUCTS WERE TESTED WITH ACCEPTABLE RESULTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD.
