Abstract: A RANDOM SAMPLE OF MARYLAND PHYSICIANS WHO COMPLETED DEATH CERTIFICATE WITH A CAUSE ASSIGNED TO HEART DISEASE WILL BE SENT A QUESTIONNAIRE TO DETERMINE THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF MEDICAL EVIDENCE WHICH WAS USED TO CERTIFY THE CAUSE OF DEATH. DATA COLLECTED WILL BE USED TO EVALUAT THE DEATH CERTIFICATION PROCESS.
