Abstract: THE DATA COLLECTED ARE USED TO ESTIMATE THE NATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE AFDC PROGRAM, TO ESTIMATE THE AMOUNT OF FEDERAL OUTLAYS AND TO MONITOR THE BUDGET FOR THE FEDERALLY SUPPORTED AFDC PROGRAM. THESE DATA ALSO INDICATE THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF THE AFDC PROGRAM. THE AFFECTED PUBLIC IS COMPRISED OF STATE AGENCIES PARTICIPATING IN TH AFDC PROGRAM.
