Abstract: DATA ON THE MATURITY OF FULLY-INSURED BROKER-ORIGINATED DEPOSITS ARE NEEDED TO JUDGE THE IMPACT OF A REGULATORY PROPOSAL WHICH WOULD SEVERL LIMIT SUCH COVERAGE ON NEW AND RENEWED DEPOSITS ON DEPOSIT FLOWS OVER TIME AND TO ESTIMATE THE FHLB RESOURCES NECESSARY TO OFFSET A PORTION OKF THE POTENTIAL DEPOSIT LOSS.
