Abstract: REA LOANS MONEY TO SMALL ELECTRIC UTILITIES FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVI TO RURAL AMERICA. TO PROTECT ITS EQUITY, REA PREPARES SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FACILITIES IT FINANCES. MANUFACTURERS WISHING TO HAVE THEIR EQUIPMENT PURCHASED WITH LOAN FUNDS SUBMIT DATA DEMONSTRATING COMPLIANCE. REA EVALUATES THIS DATA TO DETERMINE IF PRODUCTS ARE ACCEPTABLE AND THAT THEIR USE WILL NOT JEOPARDIZE LOAN SECURITY.
