Abstract: THIS INFORMATION COLLECTION PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR THE IDENTIFICATION AN SELECTION OF INDIVIDUALS FOR NIH PUBLIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP. THE INFORMATION IS USED BY THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARIES OF THE 148 COMMITTEES AS ONE OF SEVERAL RESOURCES IN SEARCHING FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES. INFORMATION COLLECTION FORMS ARE SENT TO INDIVIDUALS EITHER RESPONDING TO PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS OR NOMINATED FOR MEMBERSHIP BY PROFESSIONAL COLLEAGUES.
