Abstract: THE CUSTOM FORM 7502 IS THE DESGINATED FORM ON WHICH DATA APPEARS WHIC ENABLES CUSTOMS TO DETERMINE THAT ALL LEGAL AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENT HAVE BEEN MET FOR THE ENTRY OF IMPORTED MERCHANDISE INTO THE BONDED WAREHOUSE PRIOR TO ITS ENTERING INTO THE COMMERCE OF THE UNITED STATES AND TO PROVIDE STATISTICS TO CENSUS. THIS IS A RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENT PURSUANT TO 19 USC 1508 WITH A RETENTION PERIOD OF 5 YEARS FROM DATE OF ENTRY OF MERCHANDISE.
