Abstract: THE INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO EVALUATE THE SUCCESS OF FERC'S PURPA 210 RULES IN ACCOMPLISHING THE STATUTORY GOAL OF ENCOURAGING COGENERATION AND SMALL POWER PRODUCTION. IT WILL BE USED BY THE COMMISSION IN ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENEE OF ITS RULES. IT WILLBE COLLECTED FROM STATE REGULATORY COMMISSIONS, ELECTRIC UTILITIES, AND A FEW CONGENERATORS IN 17 SELECTED STATES.
