Abstract: AN INDUSTRIAL USER OF A PUBLICLY OWNED TREATMENT WORKS (POTW) MUST NOTIFY THE POTW OF THE DISCHARGE OF ANY POLLUTANT AT A FLOW RATE OR CONCENTRATION THAT WILL INTERFERE WITH THE POTW'S OPERATIONS. THIS NOTIFICATION ALLOWS THE POTW TO PLAN AND IMPLEMENT APPROPRIATE PROTECTIVE ACTIONS.
