Abstract: NOTICE OF SHIPMENT OF SUPPLIES TO THE GOVT. IS NECESSARY ON CERTAIN OCCASIONS TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR STORAGE OR USE UPON DELIVERY. PARTS AND SERVICE CLAUSE IS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THAT CONTRACTORS SUPPLYING ITEMS TO OVERSEAS DESTINATIONS WILL HAVE FACILITIES AVAILABLE AT DESTINATIONS TO PROVIDE PARTS AND SERVICE. TIME AND DELIVERY CLUASE IS USED WHEN THE GOVT. IS NOT SURE THAT SUPPLIERS CAN MEET ITS DELIVERY SCHEDULE.
