Abstract: IN ORDER TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF AND REPORTING ON QUARTERLY CONSULTATIONS ON REFUGEE PLACEMENT AS REQUIRED IN PUBLIC LAW 97-363 (THE REFUGEE ASISTANCE AMENDMENTS OF 1982), STATES ARE REQUIRED TO REPORT TO ORR ON THEIR GENERAL AND SPECIFIC PLANS FOR SUCH CONSULTATIONS AND THE RESULTS THEREOF.
