Abstract: THE SUMMARY OF DEPOSITS ANNUAL SURVEY CONTAINS THE AMOUNT OF DEPOSITS IN VARIOUS TYPES OF CATEGORIES AT ALL OFFICES OF BANKS WITH BRANCHES IN THE UNITED STATES. THE SURVEY DATA PROVIDE A BASIS FOR MEASURING THE COMPETITIVE IMPACT OF BANK MERGERS AND HAVE ADDITIONAL USE IN VARIOUS STUDIES IN BANKING RESEARCH.
