Before applying
for extension of this clearance, EPA must reexamine th need for
weekly inspections of pumps under section 61.242-2(d)(4). This
requirement appears unnecessary given the requirement for an
audible alarm on the same systems under section 61.242-2(d)(5)(i).
In this review, EPA should present data from the leak detection
report required under this ICR to prove or disprove the need for
the weekly inspections.
