Abstract: THE QUESTIONNAIRE WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ON PUBLIC USE OF CENTRAL DEPOSITORIES FOR OBTAINING HMDA DATA. THIS INFORMATION COULD ALSO PROVIDE CONGRESS WITH INFORMATION ON THE GENERAL QUESTION OF PUBLIC US OF INDIVIDUAL INSTITUTION AND AGGREGATED HMDA DATA. THE INFORMATION WILL ASSIST THE FFIEC IN DEVELOPING RECOMMENDATIONS TO CONGRESS WHEN IT CONSIDERS EXTENDING HMDA IN 1985. CENTRAL DEPOSITORIES MAY BE LIBRARIES, COUNTY/CITY GOVERNMENTAL UNITS, CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE.
