Abstract: NSF PREPARED AND DISTRIBUTED IN 1982 A MANUAL PROVIDING PRACTICAL GUIDANCE ON PLANNING, ORGANIZING AND IMPLEMENTING UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY COOPERATIVE RESEARCH CENTERS. USER FEEDBACK IS NEEDED FROM THE MANUAL INDIVIDUAL RECIPIENTS IN INDUSTRY AND ACADEMIA ON HOW WELL THE MANUAL HAS SERVED THEIR NEEDS, AND WHAT MIGHT BE DONE TO IMPROVE IT AND NSF'S CONTINUING ROLE IN FOSTERING BETTER UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY RESEARCH COLLABORATION.
