THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF
CHILDHOOD PHSYCHOPATHOLOGY BY PRIMARY CARE PRACTITIONERS WILL BE
EXAMINED USING OBJECTIVE MEASURES OF PSYCHIATRIC DISORDER.
PREVALENCE OF VARIOUS DISORDERS, AND USE OF MEDICAL AS WELL AS
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, WILL BE MEASURED BY INTERVIEW AND 3-MONTH
FOLLOWUP OF 300 PARENTS AND CHILDREN DRAWN FROM A SCREENING SAMPLE
OF 2000.
