Abstract: THE PROPOSED COLLECTION IS A PRETEST OF THE 1985-86 FEVS, A DETAILED ONSITE SURVEY OF A REPRESENTATIVE SAMPLE OF RECREATION VISITORS TO FEDERAL LANDS. VISITORS ARE ASKED ABOUT THEIR ACTIVITIES, EXPERIENCES AND EXPENDITURES, AND INVITED TO SUGGEST IMPROVEMENTS. THE RESULTS AR REPORTED TO CONGRESS AND USED IN PLANNING.
