Abstract: THIS REQUEST PROVIDES THE MAJOR MECHANISM WHEREBY EACH APPLICATION FOR SUBSIDY UNDER SECTION 601 OF THE MERCHANT MARINE ACT, 1936, AS AMENDED, WOULD CONTAIN SUFFICIENT INFORMATION TO ASSIST THE MARINE SUBSIDY BOARD/MARITIME ADMINISTRATOR IN MAKING THE NECESSARY DETERMINATIONS AND FINDINGS FOR APPROVAL/DISAPPROVAL OF A SUBSIDY APPLICATION.
