Abstract: THE ETHICS IN GOVERNMENT ACT OF 1978 (PUB. L. 95-521, AS AMENDED) REQUIRES THAT A FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE REPORT BE SUBMITTED BY CANDIDATES FOR NOMINATION OR ELECTION TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OR VICE PRESIDENT, AND PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEES TO POSITIONS REQUIRING THE ADVICE AND CONSENT OF THE SENATE.
