Abstract: THE SHELLFISH PROGRAM CERTIFICATION/CANCELLATION PROVIDES FOR INDUSTRY STATE, AND FEDERAL AGENCIES A SIMPLE MEANS FOR TRANSMISSION OF INFORMATION CONCERNING CERTIFIED SHELLFISH SHIPPERS TO FDA FOR PUBLICATION. FDA PUBLISHED THIS INFORMATION FOR FOOD CONTROL OFFICIALS AND SHELLFISH INDUSTRY SO THEY WILL KNOW SOURCES OF APPROVED SHELLFISH.
