Abstract: THIS INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO MAINTAIN AN INDIVIDUAL EARNINGS RECORD F EACH EMPLOYEE WHO WORKS AND RECEIVES WAGES COVERED BY SOCIAL SECURITY. THE SELECTED DATA IS USED TO DETERMINE ORIGINAL AND/OR CONTINUING ELIGIBILITY AS WELL AS THE AMOUNT OF BENEFIT PAYMENTS DUE. THE AFFECT PUBLIC IS COMPRISED OF ALL EMPLOYERS WHO ARE REQUIRED TO FILE FORMS W-2 AND W-3.
