Abstract: THIS INFORMATION IS NECESSARY FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO EVALUATE APPLICATIONS FOR PERMITS TO CONDUCT PRELEASE EXPLORATION OFFSHORE AND TO MONITOR THE ACTIVITIES OF SCIENTIFIC EXPLORATIONS CONDUCTED UNDER NOTICES. THIS EVALUATION IS NECESSARY TO ASSURE THAT THERE IS N EVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION, PERSONNEL HARM, DAMAGE TO HISTORICAL OR CULTURAL SITES, OR INTERFERENCE WITH OTHER USERS.
