Abstract: 19 CFR PART 158 IS USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH 19 USC 66, 1440, 1448, 1584, 1624 FORUSE OF CUSTOMS FORM 5931 WHICH IS USED TO EXPLAIN MANIFEST DISCREPANCIES AND TO BE USED FOR THE CORRECTION OF THE MANIFE BY THE MASTER OF A VESSEL OR HIS AGENT, AIRCRAFT COMMANDERS, OPERATORS OF OTHER COMMERCIAL CARRIERS, CUSTOMHOUSE BROKERS AND IMPORTERS. THE AMENDMENT HELPS REDUCE THE TIME BURDEN ON THE IMPORTER BY NOT HAVING TO HAVE THE DECLARAT. PORTION OF FORM SIGNED BY CARRIER OF AGEN
