Abstract: THE DOCUMENT IS A DECLARATION BY AN IMPORTER THAT CERTAIN MERCHANDISE WAS MADE IN AND EXPORTED FROM THE U.S., THAT NO DRAWBACK WAS CLAIMED AT THE TIME OF EXPORTATION, THAT THE MERCHANDISE WAS NOT ADVANCED IN VALUE WHILE OUTSIDE THE U.S., AND THAT IT IS NOW ELIGIBLE TO BE IMPORT INTO THE U.S. WITHOUT PAYMENT OF DUTY. IT IS A RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENT PURSUANT TO 19 CFR 162.LC. RETENTION PERIOD OF 5 YEARS FRO DATE OF ENTRY OF MERCHANDISE.
