Abstract: CONGRESS MANDATED THE COLLECTION OF NATIONAL ASSESSMENT SURVEY DATA. DEVELOPMENT OF OBJECTIVES, BACKGROUND QUESTIONS & EXERCISES FOR & FIEL TESTING OF ITEMS FOR THE 1985-86 ASSESSMENTS IN MATH, READING, SCIENCE COMPUTER COMPETENCE OCCUR DURING THE 1985 SCHOOL YEAR.
