Abstract: TO OPERATE AN AIRPORT SERVING AIR CARRIERS, A PERSON MUST OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN AN AIRPORT OPERATING CERTIFICATE. THE APPLICATION INITIATES THE CERTIFICATION PROCESSI INCLUDING AIRPORT INSPECTION AND DOCUMENTATION OF SAFE AIRPORT OPERATIONS AND EQUIPMENT. THE CERTIFICATION REMAINS VALID IF SAFETY STANDARDS ARE MAINTAINED AS VERIFIED BY INSPECTIONS, RECORDS, AND REPORTS.
